2020 NFL Draft Thread - Day 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The thing with drafting DPJ is, he can be the #3 with little expectations for a year or two until one or both of OBJ/Landry inevitably moves on. He's got some pretty good potential and could ideally step in an replace one of the above without us having to spend $$ on a WR or a high draft pick who comes in with immediate expectations. Doesn't seem like rookie WRs come in and to much usually, and frankly, we need to be beyond drafting players high with immediate pressure to produce.

This draft is an easy A for me.

Which is making me nervous because usually I say about a B-.

Will definitely have a chance to learn from OBJ and Landry. Should do him wonders

He has great speed for his size, the best jumper in the draft, and was in a terrible position in Michigan.

But the lack of production scares me. Still, in the sixth round, you won't get much better than that.

Okay thats a good pick

I just posted in the wrong thread, but DPJ played all four special teams groups and blocked a few field goals at Michigan. This is about insurance for an injury to a receiver, but more importantly solidifying special teams.

He's got one of the highest dynamic scores in the draft, which is usually a good indicator that a guy is good at football.

His quarterbacks were atrocious.

I’d wager michigans talent development ability is also pretty underwhelming. The hope is that the Browns’ is not
