So I read a theory elsewhere that I'm a fan of. It was that we'll come to find that the TVA is controlled by a Loki variant.
That's what I assumed as well.So I read a theory elsewhere that I'm a fan of. It was that we'll come to find that the TVA is controlled by a Loki variant.
That's what I assumed as well.
I feel all the direct guesses, like Kang, are going to fizzle out like every other on-the-nose guess we've had so far in the MCU.
I edited my previous post. The Kang speculation is at least substantiated by the fact that we know the character has been cast and he was cast suspiciously early if his first appearance won't be until the Ant-Man / Wasp sequel.
Isn't it quite a long story? You guys all realize that Ravonna Renslayer that is in charge of the TVA is Kang's wife in the comics right?
Given what old Loki said, this might play outI think Loki took one of the Time Stones. He didn't just put that pillar back into place with telekenesis. He reversed time like Dr. Stange did. And though Loki in the comic books can shoot energy beams, we have not yet seen him do it in the MCU and he had every reason to on a couple occasions. A green energy blast would be consistent with having the Time Stone.
It makes perfect sense that Loki took some Infinity Stones when he took back the Tesseract. He knows they still work everywhere but the TVA.
In fact, I think the whole trip to Lamentis is him just trying to get information from Sylvie. And that they can leave whenever. For one, he shouldn't get so drunk, or drunk at all, off a few human drinks. Asgardians and Frost Giants have tremendous tolerances.
