NFL Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The son/assistant of the Walrus, Britt Reid, just had an extremely bad car accident, seriously injuring 2 young children.

He was also badly intoxicated and is a repeat offender. Not good.

It's a family problem...one of the other Assistant/Baby Walruses died in 2012 of a drug overdose...

Don't know what sort of compensation Eagles will ask for, but the Colts just seem to make the most sense for Wentz. They went 11-5 with the corpse of Phillip Rivers. With the Colts D, if Wentz could just go back to even how he played in 2019 they might be the favorites in the South. They'll be getting Mack and Pariss Campbell back as well.

I guess I could see the Bears, too, but I don't think he's good enough to elevate that team to where it needs to go offensively.

I’ve seen a rumor saying Foles, Tarik Cohen, and a first for Wentz.

Just a rumor, of course, but... phew. Each day that passes by in this offseason just makes me grateful that the Browns have Baker paired with the Coach of the Year.

I really hope the Bears and Eagles make that trade. Bring Foles back. If the Eagles get a pick and a player as well, good.
Wentz lost all the goodwill with me after he got the Super Bowl winning coach fired behind his putrid play.
Either something was up with the Clowney hit or he truly regressed in a way I don't think I've ever seen.
He gotta go.

This is crazy. Does this mean Detroit actually places a high value on Goff? Otherwise, why else would you turn down the 8th pick in the draft in favor of ‘22 & ‘23 1sts that might be 25 or lower? This is fucking stupid.

If Bridgewater sucked they had an out at the end of the year.

It also would’ve given them the 7th & 8th pick in a year with a relatively stacked QB class.

My theory on Detroit is that they can sell Goff as a franchise QB and even if he sucks, it buys them a year or two to try and figure out the qb stuff behind the scenes. If he does suck, they probably will be picking in the top 10 plus will have the rams picks to package if they need to move up.

I really hope the Panthers get that call from the Texans too. I need the good QBs to be in the NFC until the Eagles are back in order. Just so we don't have another Super Bowl scenario like the one we're seeing.

Calvin Johnson, man.
When people talk about the Browns being so bad, they really need to look at the OG 0-16 Gods. The HOF talent they've squandered.

I just saw the Chiefs added a running back this week. He's supposedly a 26 year old rookie named Derrick Gore.

...We all agree this is Frank Gore wearing a fake goatee right?

From the dawn of the league he came; moving silently down through the ages from Sammy Baugh to the era of Brady, living many secret lives, always as a running-back, struggling to reach the time of Super Bowl 55, when the few that remain with the GOAT will battle to the last. He is Frank Gore. He is Immortal.
