Where are you getting that the Arenado trade has fallen through? I’ve seen zero reports that it’s been called off.
I took his comment to say.. what if the Arenado trade fell through.. and then the query.. Of course, there isn't any indication in normal postings for this happening.. but..Where are you getting that the Arenado trade has fallen through? I’ve seen zero reports that it’s been called off.
Signing Hernandez and Rosario to one-year deals for $13 million makes no sense if they're about to trade Hosey.
Wham, I agree on the surface, but ultimately any deals scrutiny would depend upon the return. At this time, I'd prefer they keep the Hamster and use the excess youngsters to add in RF, CF, 1B, and/or the BP.Signing Hernandez and Rosario to one-year deals for $13 million makes no sense if they're about to trade Hosey.
No. We have Franmil Reyes. We don't have a spot for Soler and I'm completely disinterested in stocking KC or getting them off the hook for him.Wham, I agree on the surface, but ultimately any deals scrutiny would depend upon the return. I mentioned somewhere around here about calling KC and seeing what kind of deal can be made for Soler. Some cash would likely have to come with him, but the Indians have the prospects to make it feasible.
I don't know about "stocking KC". He's on the last year of control and we all know how that affects a players value. I find it hard to believe that CLE could pick up the entire $8M so a decent prospect would have to be sent, but I doubt it would be multiple. If it were multiple, they would be lower ranked prospects.No. We have Franmil Reyes. We have reached the point where the OF is Rosario, Mercado/Zimmer, and DJ/Luplow, with Naylor at first. There's nothing wrong with that unless you trade some of those guys for replacements. We have bodies all over the place. Time to play 'em.
You want to pursue some veteran BP help, particularly from the left side, sure, I'm all over that. But we got position players that we either have to play or let go. And we're not going to just boot these guys to the curb without giving some of them another shot, and finally giving the Jet one
After 45 sporadic AB as a 24 yr old? He doesn't play like Jane. Thus far he has slugged over .500 for his minor league career. He's also got on base at a .342 clip. He strikes out more than desired, but that isn't frowned upon like it used to be. Clearly without his power potential he would be a nobody, but that power potential is very real. In fact, I would call his rare.Bradley...
..looks like Tarzan...
..plays like Jane...
The end of his Indians career is fast approaching unless he performs.. put up or shut up time for BB..
Interesting, Pluto had a quote along those exact lines from Tito today:We have reached the point where the OF is Rosario, Mercado/Zimmer, and DJ/Luplow, with Naylor at first. There's nothing wrong with that unless you trade some of those guys for replacements. We have bodies all over the place. Time to play 'em.
